[09:12]<@jacky>
[09:12]<BC_Programmer> spooky
[09:12]<@jacky> BC_Programmer: Remember!... you can't talk about camerongray anymore in Don's
[09:12]<@jacky> :)
[09:12]<+camerongray> Haha yeah
[09:12]<BC_Programmer> oh did he just break 1000? cool
[09:13]<+camerongray> Never noticed that I was close
[09:13]<@jacky> BC_Programmer ? not Programming ?
[09:13]<BC_Programmer> oh
[09:13]<BC_Programmer> must have un-idented
[09:13]<@jacky> no matter...
[09:13] * BC_Programmer is now known as BC_Programming
[09:13] * ChanServ sets mode: +a
[09:13] * ChanServ sets mode: +o BC_Programming
[09:13]<@jacky> just happened to notice
[09:13]<@jacky> Oh Looky!
[09:13]<@BC_Programming> or ping timed out or whatever
[09:13]<@jacky> it's BC_Programming !!!
[09:14]<@jacky> who knew??
[09:14]<@BC_Programming> yes I've revealed my true form
[09:15]<@jacky> camerongray: is it that ugly of a form?
[09:15]<@BC_Programming> I just noticed Allan has more posts than me! Time to spam the forum
[09:16]<+camerongray> Lol
[09:16]<@jacky> no need to use your brain
[09:16]<@BC_Programming> "I agree with the advice posted"
[09:17]<@jacky> BC_Programming: do up a perl script or something. Give camerongray a copy. have your scripts "converse" with each other on the forum.
[09:17]<@BC_Programming> heh gibberish
[09:17]<@jacky> oh no... don't do regular posts
[09:17]<@jacky> heh
[09:17]<@BC_Programming> "well, yes, but I disagree- the floobity is clearly the superior gook choice, and if you disagree you simply aren't experienced enough to use the new turtle collar widget"
[09:18]<@BC_Programming> hheeey
[09:18]<@jacky> are you posting as BC?
[09:18]<@jacky> or db?
[09:18]<@BC_Programming> I'm scared of posting as DB
[09:18]<@BC_Programming> I might misplace my brain when I remove it
[09:18]<+camerongray> He had a new name today
[09:18]<@jacky> just leave a cell ... that's all you need
[09:18]<+camerongray> "Fred"
[09:19]<@jacky> Phredd
[09:19]<+camerongray> He came in, tried to talk to the bot and left
[09:19]<@BC_Programming> wow he thought long and hard about that one
[09:19]<@BC_Programming> wait really? why the heck would he do that
[09:19]<@jacky> that one cell he uses went on strike?
[09:20]<@BC_Programming> Hold on guys gotta interrupt this conversation by saying how I am speaking to a client or something
[09:20]<@BC_Programming> then disconnect and reconnect as a fake user with the same hostname and ask for help
[09:20]<+camerongray> I don't even know... http://postimg.org/image/to12m2cb3/
[09:21]<@BC_Programming> lol
[09:21]<@BC_Programming> It's funny because he might forget that people can see his hostname then he quickly closes IRC
[09:21]<+camerongray> He's basically broken
[09:22]<@BC_Programming> "haha, I'll show that camerongray! I'll join with a fake name... alright... fred? that works. OK, now I need to act like a new user. I know, I'll talk to the bot"
[09:22]<+camerongray> Every time he joins he comes in as a guest, leaves then joins as himself
[09:22]<@jacky> my theorem: IRC is a huge 'tard magnet.
[09:22]<@BC_Programming> testing the waters
[09:23]<+camerongray> My theory is that he joins as a guest to check the backlog to see if people are chatting so that be only shows his face if the channel is active
[09:23]<+camerongray> Or he's a knob
[09:23]<+camerongray> One of the two
[09:23]<@BC_Programming> why would he only want to be around if it's active
[09:23]<@jacky> BC_Programming: it's like ... you know.. those people that just post stuff, until they get a thousand posts
[09:24]<@BC_Programming> oh no
[09:24]<@BC_Programming> you're on to me
[09:24]<+camerongray> His logic is impossible to understand
[09:24]<@BC_Programming> hey don't be so hard on Jacky...
[09:24]<@jacky> well.. I'm losing my touch. I was poking somebody else
[09:24]<@BC_Programming> yeah I caught that after
[09:24]<@jacky> camerongray: Hey! 2+2 DOES = 5
[09:24]<@jacky> no matter what you say
[09:24]<+camerongray> Lol
[09:25]<@jacky> !g 2+2 =
[09:25]<@BC_Programming> LIES
[09:25]<@jacky> chanbot is WRONG!
[09:25] * @jacky stamps his little footie
[09:25]<@BC_Programming> chanbot must be a NAZI JEW
[09:25]<@jacky> all the gears in my train of thought, just clashed
[09:25]<@jacky> BC wins
[09:25]<@BC_Programming> heh
[09:26]<+camerongray> Lol
[09:26]<@jacky> !seen db*
[09:27]<@BC_Programming> must have been a while?
[09:27]<@jacky> I guess
[09:27]<@jacky> what's his full nick? I can't remember for sure
[09:27]<+camerongray> db100547
[09:27]<@jacky> !see db100547
[09:28]<@jacky> !seen db100547
[09:28]<@jacky> !seennick db100547
[09:28]<@jacky> !seen db's_ass
[09:28]<+camerongray> I can probably check my logs
[09:28]<@BC_Programming> oh, I see how he does it, he keeps his Bank PIN Number as part of his username
[09:28]<+camerongray> Lol!
[09:28]<@jacky> genius! he'll never forget it
[09:28]<+camerongray> He did say the meaning of the number was secret :P
[09:29]<@jacky> and if he does... just hop on good ol' TRUSTWORTHY irc
[09:29]<@BC_Programming> see there you go
[09:29]<@jacky> BC_Programming: pssst.... "4"
[09:29]<@jacky> remember that for me, will ya?
[09:29]<@BC_Programming> remember what? 14?
[09:29]<@jacky> dang... I picked the guy with bad eyes
[09:30]<@BC_Programming> hey I do not eat big flies
[09:30]<@jacky> with mustard?
[09:30]<@BC_Programming> I can't figure out a way to misinterpret that
[09:31]<@jacky> I'm struggling today
[09:31]<@jacky> sorry
[09:32]<@jacky> hey... we are rusty... less online time in the summer, you know.
[09:34]<+camerongray> Lol
[09:34]<@BC_Programming> If we are rusty then we clearly do not have nerves of steel
[09:34]<+camerongray> Ugh, too many tourists, can barely get back to work
[09:35]<@jacky> define : too many
[09:35]<+camerongray> If one more person tries to give me a leaflet for their show, I won't be best pleased
[09:35]<+camerongray> So many they there is no space to move down the pavement
[09:36]<@jacky> you need to live or work in an island town, that goes from population of 10K to 300K
[09:36]<@jacky> then you feel it
[09:36]<@jacky> what is the main attraction there?
[09:36]<@jacky> what draws them?
[09:36]<+camerongray> The big festival
[09:36]<+camerongray> And old stuff
[09:37]<jamer> O.o
[09:37]<@BC_Programming> old people festival?
[09:37]<+camerongray> Lol, its pretty good but you can barely walk up the street
[09:38]<@BC_Programming> just like old people
[09:38] * @jacky raises his hand
[09:39]<+camerongray> hehe
[09:39]<+camerongray> This sums it up: http://www.camvista.com/scotland/edinburgh/royalmile.php
[09:39]<+camerongray> That street would usually have maybe a few people walking up and down it
[09:39]<@BC_Programming> "jacky raises his frail, old man hand, struggling to energize his tired old muscles" (fixed)
[09:40] * @jacky wonders: if I disconnect right now, will they think I just went poof! and turned to dust
[09:40]<@BC_Programming> Ashes to ashes, jacky to dust
[09:41]<+camerongray> haha
[09:41]<@jacky> Kate Upton is on TV in the background. for a bried second there, life was good, when I thought you said bust
[09:41]<@BC_Programming> haha
[09:43]<@jacky> camerongray: yep.. that's crowded
[09:43]<@jacky> why are they all wearing coats and long sleeves?
[09:44]<@jacky> :)
[09:44]<+camerongray> lol, it's pretty hot for me at the moment :P
[09:44]<@jacky> with the bikinis on the beach here in the summer, I'm afraid you would melt.
[09:45]<+camerongray> hehe
[09:45]<+camerongray> !w Edinburgh, UK
[09:46]<@jacky> !w ocean city md
[09:46]<@jacky> !fc ocean city md
[09:47]<+camerongray> Nice
[09:47]<+camerongray> Pretty similar to here then
[09:47]<+camerongray> It's also interesting at this time of year, you can pretty much do anything in the street and it wouldn't look strange
[09:47]<@jacky> that's right on the ocean
[09:48]<@jacky> you can pretty much do anything in the street and it wouldn't look strange << We call that, "New York City"
[09:48]<+camerongray> hehe
[09:52]<PCdoc> !w Pune, India
[10:08]<@BC_Programming> Modded minecraft is a bit easy when you manage to find mystcraft world with a ocean of molten gold

[19:00]<+Mulreay> Still a hive of activity in here I see
[19:14] * +Mulreay +1 on dancing Camerongray cameo
[19:14]<+camerongray> lol, hey Mulreay
[19:14]<+Mulreay> hey camerongray
[19:16]<+Mulreay> Only one month left camerongray and you will no longer be my UK cousin but my foreign enemy!
[19:16]<+camerongray> ahh, lol
[19:16]<+camerongray> Something, something, English... :P
[19:18]<+Mulreay> Lol, I truly hope you guys do make the choice that makes you totally better off. I don't know what that is but I wish you all the best of luck if you walk and offer open arms if you decide to stay.
[19:18]<+camerongray> haha yeah
[19:18]<+camerongray> It's absolutely mental up here with it all at the moment, getting bloody annoying
[19:19]<+camerongray> Did you watch the debate or was it not shown in England?
[19:20]<+Mulreay> Yeah I got verbally abused by a scotsman in Manchester because I questioned his holding up a placard in Manchester city centre stating 'Lets make change to stop the English scum'
[19:20]<+camerongray> ahh
[19:20]<+camerongray> I totally can't see why that would cause issues
[19:21]<+Mulreay> We didn't get to watch the debate sadly which I still find VERY strange
[19:21]<+camerongray> The TV debate was a mess, ruined Salmond's credibility for me even more
[19:21]<+camerongray> Lost count of how many people asked about his second plan for currency, he was blatently ignoring them
[19:22]<+camerongray> Someone would ask and he would just continue with answering the previous question, not once did he actually answer which to me screams "I don't kow"
[19:22]<+camerongray> And I normally couldn't care less about politics
[19:23]<+Mulreay> I'm not trying to offer opinion but be VERY careful about that guy. I don't normally make jokes about serious stuff but the next 'king of Scotland' does ring some truth. Again i respect your decisions and have no sway but just watch out for him
[19:23]<+camerongray> Yeah
[19:23]<+camerongray> It just annoys me how much the Yes camp tries to promote it
[19:24]<+camerongray> I'd rather they weren't sticking "Yes" stickers all over everything in one of the most beautiful cities
[19:25]<+Mulreay> Well he's telling the rest of the UK that if you can't keep the Sterling then they won't take on there part of the national debt. That will never fly at all within any schemes of rational people.
[19:25]<+camerongray> Yeah
[19:25]<+camerongray> I just can't see it working
[19:26]<+camerongray> Their entire argument is "we have oil" - i.e. a finite resource
[19:26]<+camerongray> Sure there is a lot of oil, but besides that we don't really have much else
[19:26]<+camerongray> And oil will run out at some point
[19:27]<+Mulreay> Agreed, Scotland/Salmond has this weird hard on for the oil. It's going to run out and BP has already stated that they would be uncomfortable doing the oil within an independant Scotland
[19:28]<+camerongray> Yeah
[19:28]<+camerongray> We don't really have any other exports of significant value that I can think of
[19:32]<+Mulreay> Salmond wants his name in the history books. And just to be clear, Scotland was NEVER forced into the UK we saved you from bancrupsy, so non of that FREEDOM shite that people keep spoating. At the end of the day we have been a VERY succesful union and if people feel that they need to walk away but I will be first in line stating 'well you chose this' if it all goes t1ts up
[19:33]<+Mulreay> That was alittle harsh but I do get some abuse from Scots about this :-p
[19:34]<+Mulreay> And that was so much mis-spelling
[19:36]<+camerongray> haha yeah, you are right though
[19:39]<+Mulreay> It's a shame that a lot of Scots belive that they are in the UK because of some kind of opression when it was literally a money hand out to stop your country going under.
[19:40]<+camerongray> Yeah
[19:40]<+camerongray> A lot of people are stupid
[19:40]<+camerongray> What annoys me most is the whole "If you identify as Scottish then you should vote for independance"
[19:43]<+Mulreay> Yeah, it's like every Englishman came round to every Scotsman and pee'd on there kids the way some people speak
[19:44]<+camerongray> What? https://twitter.com/benjamin1980/status/497737791166750720
[19:44]<+camerongray> Totally sounds like Hermes
[19:45]<+Mulreay> That's quite messed up
[19:46]<+camerongray> https://twitter.com/myhermes/status/497769727176228864
[19:46]<+Mulreay> hahaha
[19:47]<+Mulreay> You couldn't write it
[19:47]<+camerongray> Yeah
[19:47]<+camerongray> Would kinda love if that happened to me :P
[19:47]<+camerongray> Much more interestnig than phoning the courier to be told "Oh, ah dinnae ken where ah delivered it then"
[19:47]<+Mulreay> Ohh I could have gotten a few thousand YouTube views out of that
[19:47]<+camerongray> Turned out he had delivered it to "Sciennes" where I lived on "Sciennes Road"
[19:48]<+camerongray> I can't think how they can get confused with my new flat though
[19:48]<+camerongray> They will manage somehow I'm sure
[19:52]<+camerongray> At least my new flat has one number
[19:53]<+camerongray> Old flat had 6 different choices for number :P
[20:12]<jamer> camerongray if youmisspell my road it gets delived 3miles away
[20:12]<+camerongray> ahh
[20:13]<jamer> ive had that happen
[20:23]<+camerongray> I've come to the conclusion that pretty much all couriers are useless
[20:23]<+camerongray> DPD has been okay recently though
[20:29]<jamer> well all of mymail has to go though the usps
[20:30]<+camerongray> Regular mail and some parcels go through Royal Mail which is our main postal service
[20:30]<+camerongray> They are okay but do muck up at times
[20:30]<+camerongray> But higher value/larger items such as computer parts tend to come through couriers like UPS or FedEx
[20:30]<+camerongray> I never get any traditional letters really, everything is done online now
[20:37]<+Mulreay> DPD is Ok the worst is Yodel. That company should just die. Waited two days on the trott for them to pick up an Amazon return. They gave me a day to work with, literally 12 hours sat waiting for them to turn up and they had the stupidity to blame it on me and say to Amazon that they knocked and nobody was there. Amazon apologised and sent a private driver round the next day to coillect it.
[20:37]<+camerongray> Yeah, the issue with Yodel is they hire random people as drivers
[20:37]<+camerongray> Parcelfarce had a sign up at their depot recruiting private drivers so they may be going the same way...
[20:38]<+camerongray> They are so cheap though which is why people use them
[20:38]<+camerongray> I had to ship my server to Sheffield - Most couriers quoted anywhere between £50 and £100, Yodel charged me £9 :P
[20:38]<+Mulreay> Yodel is F'ing aweful
[20:40]<+Mulreay> Some guy earned nothing doing that job camerongray
[20:40]<+camerongray> Yeah
[20:40]<+camerongray> No idea how they can do it so cheap
[20:41]<+Mulreay> I applied for a job with them a whie back. The drivers get 50p per delivery and are expected to dock ther pay if they don't hit targets
[20:42]<+camerongray> Ahh, wow
[20:42]<+camerongray> That would explain why they rush it so much
[20:42]<+camerongray> For a lot of drivers it seems to be more of a secondary job
[20:42]<+Mulreay> They are supposed to do like 50-100 deliveries a day
[20:42]<+camerongray> Lots of drivers I've had are from other companies like gardeners who happen to have vans
[20:43]<+Mulreay> Yeah, its a very much 'do you own a van job'
[20:44]<+Mulreay> Not worth it at all
[20:44]<+camerongray> yeah
[20:45]<+Mulreay> But as I'm moving to London in a couple of weeks and then moving to Malta for a new life I shouldn't care
[20:45]<+camerongray> haha yeah
[20:45]<+camerongray> DPD's tracking is the best I've seen though
[20:45]<+camerongray> That van tracker is super useful
[20:45]<+Mulreay> DPD is very gooid to be fair
[20:45]<+camerongray> The solution to that eternal question "can I safely go to the toilet/shop/shower before the delivery"
[20:46]<+camerongray> They used to be shockingly bad but have completely changed
[20:46]<+Mulreay> I had a DPD delivery and the guy sent me a text when he was outside
[20:46]<+camerongray> Yeah
[20:46]<+camerongray> And I like the way you can tell them to send it to a neighbour online
[20:48]<+Mulreay> Ahh I keep telling Amazon to 'leave it in the enclosed porch' but they still bother all my neighbours. Don't get me wrong the old people on the block don't mind but I would rather not keep bothering them.
[22:34]<+Mulreay> Hahaha it is rare that I see a comment with like 50+ likes.. this one now stands at 152 likes
